Privacy Policy
Last updated 27 July 2026
Dayzero (“Dayzero”, “we”, “us”) helps people building software get honest feedback on their products. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what choices you have. It covers dayzero.click and the Dayzero product.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address, and the profile you give us when you sign up (your role, what stage you’re at, and a short description of what you’re building).
- Product submissions — what you enter when you submit a product: its name, URL, a description, the problem it solves, the tasks and feedback areas you want testers to focus on, and any access notes.
- Messages — anything you send us through the contact form.
- Feedback and testing activity — when testing rounds run, the responses testers give and related activity are stored so we can build your report.
- Usage data — privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics about how the site is used, and logs of automated crawler visits. Our analytics provider does not use cookies or track you across other sites.
How we use it
- To run the service — create your account and sign you in.
- To match your product with relevant testers and prepare your report.
- To send you emails you need, such as sign-in codes and updates about your testing rounds.
- To answer your messages and provide support.
- To understand usage in aggregate and improve the product.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. Product details you submit are shown to the testers matched to your product and to Dayzero administrators so a round can run. We use a small set of trusted service providers to operate Dayzero: Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (transactional email), Netlify (hosting), and DataFast (privacy-focused, cookieless analytics). These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside your country.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics is cookieless.
Keeping your data
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To make a request, use the Contact us link in the footer. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children
Dayzero isn’t intended for anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above.
